JOY DIVISION - IN THE STUDIO WITH MARTIN HANNETT (2CD) INTERSTATE 2008

Interstate contend this is a legitimate release under the terms of a contract Martin Hannett and Joy Division signed decades ago. Peter Hook has condemned it on his blog saying "This is a bootleg, from what I hear a bad bootleg too, there was no agreement". Prime Management have stated "We haven't authorised any recordings from Interstate".

The two CD set contains the following Joy Division recordings

Digital
Glass
Atmosphere
Dead Souls
Ice Age
Decades
The eternal

which sound very similar to those that have already been released elsewhere.

The rest of the CD set is made up of clips of experimental in-studio synth noises the provenance of which is undetermined at present.
