The black vinyl US copy is very similar to the original but if you compare the two sleeves you can see it's been copied - there is less detail in the cover picture because some of the grey tones have been changed to black.

How to tell the black vinyl US copy from the original:

The Original has the Title, Artist and catalogue number on the spine. The copy doesn't.

The original has the matrix numbers stamped by machine and has the following groove notations: Side 1: " IL FAUT MOURIR JEUNE..." Side 2: "...AUSSI TORD QUE POSSIBLE (rough translation: IT IS NECESSARY TO DIE YOUNG .... AND AS TWISTED AS POSSIBLE). These notations are quite faint - so look carefully.

The copy has hand written matrix numbers.

Have a look at the insert - the copy was made from number 0894 of the original batch - so all the inserts have this number. The re issue below also has this number.

The record & labels are identical to the reissued Box File "Le terme" LP; the labels are black on dark blue, and depict a drawing of a man reading a newspaper (same on both sides). The matrix number/run-off groove notations are JD 5 (side 1) and JD 6 (side 2). The track-lisiting is the same as the original (and Box File) version.

It appears that all three of the records in the reissue of the box set have been released individually in poor quality covers. Maybe they ran out of boxes.

The sleeve is plain black with inserts front and back. The back one is a copy of the insert that was inside the original sleeve and the number is always 0894 - just like the re-press of the original version - see listing above.
