2nd October 1977: Electric Circus, Manchester

The Electric Circus was supposed to close and various Manchester bands appeared at memorial gigs for the club on the weekend of October 1st and 2nd. Warsaw played on the Sunday along with: The Fall, Buzzcocks, Magazine, Rip Off, john The Postman, John Cooper-Clarke, the Prefects, The Worst and Manicured Noise.

It appears that the whole concert was recorded but At A Later Date is the only song that has surfaced so far.

During At a Later Date Bernard shouted "You all forgot Rudolf Hess!" Unfortunately this was the track picked for the live 10 inch compilation "Live At The Electric Circus" released by Virgin the following year.

There is a theory that Bernard (some sources say Ian) shouted this because the band had played Warsaw before At A Later date

Jon Savage's review of the final weekend of the Electric Circus for Melody Maker was reprinted in the "England's Dreaming" book and stated that Novelty was played
