Staglieno Cemetery photos
The covers of Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart 12" single and Closer album feature photos from the Staglieno Cemetery, Genova, Italy. Stan Verbeken visited the cemetery in 2005 and sent us the pictures below.

How to find them: Go through the main entrance. On the left and right there are long, covered hallways with niches / tombs on both sides. For the Closer tomb take the second hallway on the left, and the tomb is the first one on the right. For the Love Will tear Us Apart tomb, turn right at the entrance and carry on all the way, until you reach the corner where you see the open cemetery. Then go left into the half-open hallway where the angel is the third or fourth tomb on the right. Thanks to Google for the image
